Adèle Viret

EN

25 years old and a beautiful promise of an exciting musical career!

Coming from a family of musicians (her father is double bassist Jean-Philippe Viret), she composed from a young age and explored diverse musical territories through her studies in Paris and Brussels and multidisciplinary experiences as a young professional.

She experienced the joys of intercultural collaborations by joining the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra and a collective bringing together Bulgarian, French, Portuguese, and Tunisian musicians. A stint with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (2021-2022) and her selection into the Jazz Migration program (AJC network) earned her the beginnings of recognition within the jazz network. In 2023, she won the Forte grant for emerging talents in Île-de-France, which allowed her to produce her first album, Close to the Water, which received praise from the specialist press in the fall of 2024.
