His most recent album, “Nouvelle Vague”, was awarded the prestigious 2014 French Jazz Album Prize by the Académie de Jazz.
A highly successful adaptation of film music from the 60s and 70s, “Nouvelle Vague” is performed in a stage version, a concert version, and a concert version with a visual show featuring film extracts (directed by Adrian Smith). Kerecki is joined by an exceptional team including Emile Parisien (winner of the 2012 Django Reinhardt Prize and 2014 Victoire du Jazz), dashing seventy-something John Taylor, a hero of European jazz awarded the title European Artist of the Year by the Académie du Jazz, and drummer Fabrice Moreau.
